
Sr Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)
Remote Position ** The Louisiana Tumor Registry is currently seeking a Sr Oncology Data Specialist. PLEASE NOTE: QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN MODIFIED to include the following: Two additional years of cancer registry experience as an ODS-C, combined with an associate degree and ODS certification, can substitute for the bachelor’s degree. Both ODS-C positions are REMOTE.

CoC Program Manager | OLOL
Remote Position ** Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute of Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a full-time CoC Program Manager. The CoC Program Manager is expected to perform a variety of duties related to the management and operations of the organizational development of the cancer registry and to work collaboratively with the leadership to maintain ongoing accreditation with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Commission on Cancer (CoC) approval program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years of abstracting experience
• Bachelor’s degree required in a healthcare-related field
• ODS-C may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree (consider adding 2 years’ experience in addition to ODS-C to substitute for a B.S.)
TRAINING:
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, abstracting and coding principles, Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program, Louisiana Tumor Registry (LTR), and CoC guidelines is essential.
• Thorough understanding of coding and staging guidelines, CoC standards, and LTR requirements
